I Ching Hexagram 11

Tài · Peace

Hexagram 11

Tai describes open exchange, moving resources, and different forces working in healthy coordination. Its ease is not static luck; it is a sustainable cycle created by communication, trust, and action.

Upper trigram: Earth/Kūn

Lower trigram: Heaven/Qián

The situation you may be in

Conditions support cooperation, progress, and wider results, and resistance is easier to resolve than before. Yet every open channel needs maintenance; ease can slowly close when it is taken for granted.

How to respond

Use the period of openness to establish good structures, strengthen relationships, and prepare for reversal. Turn favorable conditions into repeatable order rather than merely enjoying present ease.

Judgment

Applying it to real life

Love & relationships

This supports honest conversation, repaired misunderstandings, and shared planning. When connection feels easy, keep listening rather than treating harmony as self-maintaining.

Career & work

Cross-team work and resource coordination are favored. Connect personal opportunity to shared benefit and support will become more durable.

Choice & decisions

You can proceed, but align the key people and encode the conditions for success into the process. The strongest option is usually the one that improves flow across the whole system.

Timing & pace

The window is open for action and consolidation. Do not wait until favorable momentum fades before preparing.

The six changing lines

The lines unfold from the bottom upward, describing one pattern of change from its first appearance to its extreme. If your reading has a changing line, begin with that position.

One person's movement draws aligned companions with it. Choose your cohort and advance together.

Include what is rough, take on difficulty, and do not neglect distant needs. Freedom from clique thinking keeps the work centered.

Every level road eventually slopes. Accept cyclical change early and steady principles will limit loss.

Sincere connection matters more than material advantage. Trust grows when status and superiority are set aside.

When the stronger side enters partnership with humility, yielding status creates a larger and more fortunate union.

The established order is beginning to collapse inward. Force will increase the cost; narrow the scope and repair from within.

A common misreading

Tai does not mean risk has disappeared. Its real test is whether you can notice the seeds of future blockage during favorable times and build resilience early.
